
Hi I am Smita, founder of Ihati Wellness. I am a certified Weight Management Consultant and Yoga trainer. Before completing weight management certification, I have studied Bachelor’s in Homoeopathy and Masters in Public Health. With a background in health and medicine, I understand the role and importance of “Prevention” in lifestyle-related diseases or noncommunicable disease. Unhealthy diet, stress and lack of physical activity are the root cause for many noncommunicable diseases.
Having been on the weight loss journey myself, with a diagnosis of hypothyroidism, I know and understand the physical, social and emotional struggle. I am committed to provide a wellness plan that is tailored to your goals, your health and lifestyle needs. I am aware that besides diet and physical activity, there are so many factors that affect our health and wellbeing that need consideration while prescribing a plan. I believe in ‘bottom-up’ approach for promoting good health, where I work for and with my clients, educating and empowering them, so that they are capable of making informed decisions and healthy lifestyle choices to achieve sustainable results.
